Early in 2016 I received one of my daily tech emails with the latest and greatest discoveries and launches. In one of those articles there was mention about a new toothpaste that was being launched in the UK. Normally my articles don’t mention healthcare tech, but for some reason the tech reporter included it in his email. Maybe it was a slow day? Toothpaste is not something I normally get excited about, and truth be told I was like most of the population that seems to pick toothpaste based on what is on special. But something caught my eye. A tech magazine randomly discussing toothpaste something different. I think it was the heading of the article which said something like “rebuilds teeth whilst you sleep”.
I managed to have a few tubes sent out from the UK, to see if the toothpaste lived up to the PR hype. I hope it would, the cost of shipping alone made me think a trip to the dentist would be cheaper. A week or so later the toothpastes arrived, the packaging was not flashy like the big name brands, but more suggestive of a quality product.
My wife and I both gave the toothpaste a try. Quite rapidly we did get the sensation that our teeth felt cleaner, and they did look marginally whiter.
